Weight Policy: Individual passenger weights and accompanying carry-on luggage MUST be advised at time of booking. Weight variances greater than 10% may incur an additional fee. Maximum single seat payload of 130kg. For passenger comfort and aircraft weight and balance, passengers exceeding 130kg are required to purchase an additional seat at 50% of ticket price - this is non-commissionable and payable to Nautilus Aviation on day of travel.
There is a maximum of 6 to 7 passengers permitted per helicopter (subject to aircraft availability)
Infants 2 years and under travel free of charge when seated in the lap of a guardian
A minimum of 2 people per booking is required

The best experience I have done on the reef. It feels like you could reach out and touch the reef. Saw turtles and dolphins. The colours were amazing, it such a unique way to see the reef. Flew over 5 different reef systems. The pilot was so full of information about the reef. Photos don’t do it Justice.

Shaun our pilot was simply amazing - I was very nervous and he was patient and kind!! would do this trip again in a heartbeat!!! Very informative!! Picked up from our hotel perfectly on time and returned again safely! Thank you so much guys - it was awesome

We booked the tour within a 24hr time frame, and received a phone call the next morning to confirm our tour. All staff, from the reservations team, ground staff and pilot were completely professional and experienced and made the trip enjoyable. The check in process is really simple, and the departure area is only a short walk from check in. The views of the Great Barrier Reef were amazing!! Just do it!!

Staff were amazing. Unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to do a 45 minute flight - however, the staff were so helpful that did not matter! We were offered a 30 minute flight instead, and a refund of the difference. Within five minutes it was all sorted! The flight and pilot were spectacular, couldn't complain! Was super friendly, and informative. We were so impressed with the team at Nautilus! Would 100% recommend for anyone, was a highlight of our trip. Thank you :)

We were so impressed with the team at Nautilus. We booked the cruise out and fly back package to the Great Barrier Reef but unfortunately due to weather, the helicopter flight got cancelled. We popped in to the office the follow day to discuss the refund, however the friendly staff offered us a 60 minute scenic flight for no extra charge. The flight was absolutely spectacular and the pilot was very informative. Thank you Nautilus!!

There is nothing like looking over the Great Barrier Reef than from the seat of a helicopter. It was a smooth journey and I could see for miles. \ Seeing the GBR from above you get a real appreciation of the enormity of the Great Barrier Reef. See it by snorkelling, scuba diving or an underwater vessel like a glass bottom boat or semi-submersible tour.. but do yourself a favor and go the next level and get a bird's eye view from a helicopter too. I was lucky enough to see a Manta Ray in the waters below on the day. So that was an unexpected highlight I have to share.

I highly recommend Nautilus. It was my first time in a helicopter and it was such an amazing experience. The pilot Craig was very knowledgeable about the area and was more than happy to answer my all of my questions. I will definitely recommend Nautilus to all my family and friends visiting Cairns.

No regrets flying with nautilus in their good looking red helicopter. The pilot provides informative Commentary about the reefs in the area. Stunning bird eye views over the reef definitely a must do activity to experience the Great Barrier Reef.
