Itinerary

Day 1: Travel from Port of Airlie, via Hamilton Island, to Hardy Reef

Stop At: Cruise Whitsundays, 24 The Cove Rd Port of Airlie, Airlie Beach, Queensland 4802 Australia
Depart from Port of Airlie to travel out to the Great Barrier Reef.
Duration: 30 minutes

Meals included:

Accommodation included: Deluxe Reefbed under the stars

Day 2: Spend the day on Hardy Reef before cruising back to Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach

Stop At: Hamilton Island Marina, Front St, 4803 Australia
Quick stop to drop off passengers

It is recommended that you bring only one small bag per person with the things you will need for your overnight stay including, swimwear, towel, sunscreen, light jacket or sweater, money and/or credit card for on board purchases and camera
You will be required to complete a medical and dietary requirement form that will be sent to you on confirmation of the booking
Operates in all weather conditions. Swags can be zipped, are water-proof and can tolerate wet weather
A history of certain medical conditions may preclude a guest from SCUBA diving unless a current Diving Medical Certificate can be shown to the instructor.
All intending divers over the age of 55 years of age must produce a current Diving Medical Certificate. All divers are subject to a medical questionnaire on board the vessel before diving and their fitness to dive will be assessed by a diving instructor
Minimum age is 12 years
Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 24 travelers

I’d just like to thank everyone at ReefSleep for the incredible proposal my now fiancé organised (with your help and suggestions). The crew did such an amazing job and gave us the most incredible memory. It started with an underwater dinner and as dessert came, a few scuba divers appeared at the window with a sign that read ‘Will you marry me?’ and my now fiancé got on one knee. I honestly can’t thank these guys enough. We’re already planning on coming back for our one year anniversary!

An qmazing experience with a high quality customer service!! You sleep on a glam swag on a small pontoon in the middle of the great barrier reef, watching the sunset, sunrise, moon, stars, turtles, corals, fish... listening to the sound of the waves and the wind, eating delicious food and pampered by a lovely and professional host (the amazing Summah!) ! This 1 day and a half felt like 3 days of pure rest and healthy energy. I've snorkel 4 times, the reef is so beautiful, and the "snorkel safari tour" gives you the opportunity to discover a part of the reef more "private" and have extra comments about the life under water. The staff in general from the boat to the pontoon make the experience even more unforgettable. They are all so nice, bubbly, caring. I've done the experience solo, and It was a pleasure to chat with lovely guests and staff. Thank you Cruise Whitundays for one of my best experience this year.

Absolutely incredible experience doing the reef sleep. So magical when all day trippers leave and the reef is left to you and a few others . Ben , Summer and abbey were wonderful hosts and food was delicious. Huge shout out to Max my diving instructor I was extremely nervous but he kept me calm and made sure I had an unforgettable first dive . Would love to do again. .

This without doubt one of the most beautiful and amazing experience of our lives. The setting is absolutely magical, and once the day trippers leave, reef world becomes the sole haven for it’s guest. Ben, and Summah where our hosts, and Dom our amazing chef that never disappointed us. A very special thank you to our very special dive master Melissa for her knowledge and your way of educating people. We absolutely adored your passion and enthusiasm, and wish you all the best for your future. Thank you to Cruise Whitsundays for having the foresight to establish such a beautifully amazing experience.

This was an amazing trip and experience - we celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary in a luxury pod just taking in the sights of the night sky and listening to the sounds of the fish and watching all around us - once the day trippers head off you feel as if you are quite alone in a unique part of our world - sunset canapés and drinks followed by a dinner worthy of 5 stars - the pods are very comfortable and we awaken to a glorious sunrise followed by a sumptuous breakfast - snorkelling or just cooling off you have the place to yourselves till mid morning when the day trippers come back and the next lot of guests and it’s time to give up your space for someone else to enjoy but not before a nice little private lunch is served away from the crowds - we were blessed to have perfect weather and admit this experience is a ‘wow’

Departed 8am Port of Airlie Aircon boat over with morning tea served. On board booked extra activities. 1. helicopter ride (from pontoon to heart reef and back) 2. Introduction scuba dive 3. Snorkle tour. Arrived at pontoon at 11am and bored with other reefsleep guest that were already there , plus our day guest on our boat.. Did some snorkling , had buffet lunch and drinks. Meals and drinks included in price. 3pm day guest and reefsleepers(from previous 2 days) leave. You now have the pontoon to yourselves till 11am the following day before the new lot arrive. Snorkle away or just sit and relax and enjoy the view... Sunset drinks and snacks followedby dinner on Lower deck. Reef beds are so comfortable. Pillows provided as well as blanket). You can also charge phones in reef beds ! Free complimentary water bottles given to all guest! . Was hard to sleep at night due to excitement but so worth the less Zzzzzs. So peacefull and such an amazing experience . 2nd day up for sunrise and to get ready for the day! Breakfast at 7am, buffet style. . Guided tour snorkle first up then some morning tea and then joined but the day trippers and new reef sleep guest at 11am. Day ended at 3pm on day 2 and it was time to head back to Airlie. PUT this on your bucket list. You will not be disappointed at all. Inclusions for reef sleepers- all meals /drinks , reefsleep, stinger &wetsuits, flippers, snorkles and Goggles. .Extras : helicopter rides,diving,tour guided snorkling,gopro hire,photos with the sea fish... showers and toilets and changeroom on board. Bring your swimmers and a change of clothes. Staff are amazing!

What an amazing experience. Sleeping under the stars in our custom swag in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef rates as one of the most extraordinary experiences we have ever had. After the day trippers left the pontoon we were able to snorkel in the middle of the ocean virtually on our own. Stunning corals, vast numbers of fish, and just us. Back on the pontoon for sunset canapés and dinner under the stars, all courtesy of our private chef. After an extremely comfortable night we awoke to yet more food and additional water activities before we finally head the 50kms back to shore. Bridjett our hostess was a real credit to Cruise Whitsundays as were Rafe our chef and Angus the pontoon master. An unforgettably wonderful time.

Wow, wow, wow. A once in a lifetime, bucket list experience. Didn’t want to leave. Snorkelling was amazing, hubby loved his 3 scuba dives, service excellent, good was excellent. Comfortable swag, unfortunately a very windy night, not much sleep, but do worth it to have this amazing experience. Memories to treasure .

Have just done this trip 2-3 Sept. It is a MUST DO if you are in Whitsundays. Staff from service staff, dive and snorkeling assistants, deck hands are amazing....very professional and very helpful. Food on board is fantastic and there is plenty of it!!! Couldn't recommend this enough. Something I will do again for sure.
