Drive through the entry station of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. Park Entry Tickets are required to enter the park. These can be purchased online prior to your arrival or from your guide in the morning of your tour and are valid for 3 days.

As you start your sunrise trek around the 12-kilometre full base trail of Uluru you will gain an understanding of the culture, geology and environment that is the essence of this monolith. Your guide will tell the cultural (Tjukurpa) stories of Kuniya (woma python) and Liru (venomous snake), and many other Aboriginal creation stories associated with this central Australian icon. Along the trail you will witness sunrise, visit waterholes and the rock art sites of the ancients and learn of Uluruâ€™s cultural significance to the Anangu (local Aboriginal) people.

If you are staying at Emu Walk apartments, your pick up location will be Desert Gardens hotel.
If you are Staying at The Lost Camel, your pick up location will be Sails in the Desert Hotel.
Pick up times differ depending on the time of year. On arrival into your Ayers Rock accommodation please call to reconfirm your touring pick up time.

If you cancel between 3 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee.

We were thoroughly impressed with Uluru, our friendly and professional guide Dan and the fascinating history of this monument. Such a wonderful learning experience and beautiful sunrise.

We really can’t thank Imogen enough for hosting such an incredible experience. It was an absolute highlight of our stay. It was the perfect blend of important indigenous norms of culture, religion, and place; intersected with modern science and geology. It was equally fascinating and thought provoking.

Our Italian guide, Michele, was amazing and knowledgeable about the local indigenous peoples sacred sites, creation stories and the local flora. You could ask any question and could have a great conversation with Michele. The sunrise was spectacular and the whole walk was worth while. The sites of Uluru were breathtaking. Breakfast provided was a lovely range of snacks including cereal, coffee, hot chocolate, justice, but bars, biscuits and fruit cups. I would recommend this tour to anyone who’s interested in seeing Uluru up close and to hear about its cultural significance.

***** 5 STARS My husband and I thoughly enjoyed the tour. Hardly noticed it was a 12 klm walk. Tour Guide very people friendly and knowledgeable.

The walk was easily done, Mick (guide) chatted with everyone and waited till the people at the back caught up before explaining the history behind where we had stopped. It was a memory I will cherish forever.

Amazing experience. We were picked up on time by our guide Sharon could not have asked for a better guide. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and joy made it feel as though we were walking around the rock with a friend not on a tour.

Excellent guide Mick ensured we were comfortable as well as enjoyed our tour. He told us what was appropriate and respectful about the Aboriginal significance of sites we visited. He also was very informative and gave us plenty of opportunities to ask questions. I'd highly recommend this trip to anybody who enjoys walking and exploring. The pace is medium so you do need to keep up but there's no formal rush.
