  Ok so I went to this zoo with a bunch of friends - post lockdown fun stuff. Mind you we’re all in our 20s and still had so much fun in this place! Cute and a nice spread of various animals and nice layout. Definitely recommend for peeps like us lookin for some grownup fun as well as for family and kids.

  Enjoyed the reptiles and small mammals. The Orangs, Elephants and Big Cats were kind of depressing, the zoo doesn’t seem equiped enough to give those animals quality of life.

  Large park. Well laid out. Too many exhibits closed for maintenance. Use of man made materials to create 'natural' environment. E.g. Packing crates, milk crates and plastic pots. Disappointed. Food prices are horrendous. Not a zoo I would rate.

  Butterfly garden, lemurs and watching the excitement on my grandson's face. My grandson's favourite was the elephants.

  Melbourne Zoo is about to undergo an elephant population explosion. Three female elephants are expecting and will give birth in around two years -- elephants have long gestation periods. Elephants are endangered in the wild and this population boost will come as a welcome addition to elephant numbers. Baby elepants are adorable and zoo visitors will soon be able to admire these additions to the elephant ranks.

  It was nice experience to visit Melbourne Zoo with family specially with my little Son. He enjoyed it..! Only thing a little too much waiting time to see some spots like Butterflies area. Other than that it was really good experience. Toilets/Parents room were so clean! Overall zoo was very well maintained 10/10. I would recommend everyone to must visit this Zoo. Thanks
