Wonderful 2 hour excursion today across Round Hill creek, along the tidal sand flats and along the Eurimbula Reserve coast. The LARC was fun to travel in and the delightful Dylan gave us a safe, informative and fun time. Time for a walk along the waters edge, several creek crossings and a picnic lunch under a shady casuarina. Thanks 1770 LARC and Dylan.
Began with fun and ended with fun. What a day the scenery was breathtaking and so was the crew. But seriously we enjoyed our day. The boys’ knowledge about the surrounding rainforest and wild life was great. They passed on the history of the area. The history of the lighthouse and it’s caretakers. They even managed to convince me to toboggan down sand dunes for first time. Food was so fresh and delicious. So was the billy tea. Omg don’t get me started on the ANZAC biscuits 🤤 Thank you to @1770 Marina Cafe. By the way when you get back to the Mariner you HAVE TO try the coffee and vanilla slice from Marina Cafe to die for 👌 Thank you to all for a 10/10 day
An amazing and very enjoyable experience on the Larc to Bustard Head lighthouse made possible by a fantastic skipper, Macka and his assistant, Kev. Both were very professional, informative as well as lots of fun. Definitely a must do activity for all ages.
This is a great your we enjoyed a lot. Sandune or sand boarding was amazing. You need to have more time energy to burn. The food tea coffee and all snacks was amazing. We thought it was over priced but the experience is worth the money. Thanks to Vyenda (Sorry if I spelt your name incorrectly) and Kevin great people with love to nature and the species. Awesome.. keep it up folks.
This popular activity only had the shorter experience left, so we did the 2 hours lunch tour. Its was super bumpy while fun at the same time. Macka our driver and guide was fun and interesting (brush up on your collective nouns - he loves them). Lunch was a simple affair, tasty wraps and fun to talk to other travellers. The LARC has an interesting history and great to travel on land and in water. One of the better experiences in 1770.
We had a great trip with Neil on the Sunday "Lunch & LARC" trip. Neil is an entertaining and informative host, the LARC is surprisingly comfortable and the lunch is well organised and tasty. Just remember to go to the toilet before you leave as there are no toilets once you are underway. Good value for money and something I would recommend to anyone who is visiting 1770.
