I recruited two more couples via Cruise Critic Roll Call and had a wonderful 8 hour private tour driving along the Great Ocean Road. Our guide, Neil, met us on the pier in a van stacked with water bottles and local “snacks” we sampled on our drive. He was very informative and responded to all our questions. My emails to David at DM Concierge were so accommodating as I was able to “choose” our preferences for the tour. We got so much more than what a 40 passenger bus tour that our cruise shore excursion had to offer.

We had private tours in comfortable and clean automobiles in both cities. Both guides did a great job of giving us history and explaining what we were visiting and driving by. David did a wonderful job of customizing both tours to our desires and booking appropriate lunches for us. Thank you!

We came to Melbourne during the Australian Open Tennis back in January and spent 2 days with Steve - one on the ocean road and the second on a city tour. David was a pleasure to deal with over email leading up to, during and even followed up by meeting us at the hotel for some cocktails to thank us in person. Thank you Steve and David for making our family vacation such a joy

Where do I begin with how WONDERFUL this tour was??!! First, a little background. We were on a cruise that only had 9.5 hours in Melbourne and we really wanted to drive part of the Great Ocean Road...but also wanted to see the 12 Apostles. After being told "no" by several other tour operators because of limited time, David worked with me easily to accomplish our mission. We drove the GOR all the way to Apollo Bay (stopping along the way to see various sites...Bell's beach, kangaroos in the wild, overlooks, GOC sign, Lorne, etc) then we took a flight from there over the southern coast to see the 12 Apostles and Bay of Islands. Our tour guide Steve was AMAZING!!! We even saw a koala in the wild on our way back to the ship. Definitely a day we will never forget!!!! David is WONDERFUL to work with, and will set everything up so that your day is perfect!! Thanks again David and Steve!!!!

The guide Neil was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He planned the tour out for us by showing us all the popular sites and let us choose the ones we wanted to spend more time on.

David and his guide Steve did an amazing job with putting together a tour for the 4 of us on Good Friday. They made sure to keep everyone comfortable and entertained for the entire 4 hour tour which is saying something as we ranged in age from 8 to 70. Steve the guide was super knowledgeable and was able to talk with confidence about the city, it’s history and lots of interesting facts. The car was super comfortable and his driving was great. Given that it was Good Friday there was less traffic on the road and we were able to see a lot more than we would ordinarily have been able to see in the 4 hours so that was a lucky break. David was also excellent with contact, texting to make sure we knew what was happening in the days beforehand and following up afterwards to make sure it had gone well. Well worth the money, would have no hesitation in recommending David and Steve for a tour of Melbourne.

For more than ten years our group has come across to Melbourne from New Zealand for the Melbourne F1. We always have a spare day and endeavor to see something new and interesting in or around town. Two years ago we called David of DM Concierge , At extremely short notice he organised one of the most memorable tours we have ever been on with Daniella as our guide. We were so impressed that we called him again this year and again had a very special day this time with Jasmine.
