Lake McKenzie was absolutely beautiful and Wayne our travel guide was great. The 4wd was fantastic alongside the history of the Island.

Sitting in lake McKenzie my second time round the water is clean, soft, gorgeous. Maheno wreck loved it old and rusty great pics. The pinnacles layers of coloured sands. Lunch buffet style at Eurong Resort, tasty fish had seconds. Steve our guide was very polite, funny, informative and really made sure we all enjoyed ourselves.

Fabulous day although very long and full on with lots of sights and stops so if your looking for something more relaxed perhaps a less adventurous tour! Our guide Hayden was terrific. We felt very safe with him driving despite the winding, uneven, very bumpy sandy tracks. Hayden’s commentary was excellent so even with pre reading we learnt heaps of history about the island. Lunch at the resort was substantial with lots of variety to keep everyone happy! The highlight of the day for us was swimming in Lake McKenzie, crystal clear water, white silky sand and beautiful scenery. The dingo wandering through campers playing in Eli Creek was a bit unnerving as there were a lot of very little children around. The Rangers were there quick smart to warn everyone they were not pet dogs! Highly recommended, great value for money.

We had a great time, with David H as our tour guide, the 4 wheel driving in the bus was a blast, enjoyed the lake and loved the light plane ride great value. Great day.
