  Great day out This is a great experience and very professionally carried out. The crew are all young and enthusiastic from various corners of the globe, there is a great sense of camaraderie and they engaged well with the guests. The experience is quite intimate as the boat only caters for a small number. We enjoyed this aspect far more than being a number in a big group. We are young 60 something year olds so were happy to sacrifice some comfort but I think in 10 years time we would be looking for a comfortable seat for a 9 hour excursion. No complaints and an overall wonderful experience.

  We recently went on a full day snorkeling trip on Reef Daytripper. The crew were absolutely amazing. Very personable and patient. Took the time to snorkel with my son and also let him help out around the boat! There were only 6 guests so we felt like we were on a private charter. Being a smaller sailing vessel it did take over 2 hrs each way which was long but it was a lovely experience to just 'be' and enjoy the ocean and relax. Highly recommend!

  The whole trip was amazing. The small vessel (meaning small number of guests) meant that you don't feel like your lost in the crowd of some of the larger vessels. The crew, (Finish skipper and her two offsiders) we're so attentive to everyone's needs. We stopped at two different spots on the reef that were both filled with coral and fish. They were more than happy to take us on a guided snorkeling tour to some of the best spots on the reef. Lunch was great and plentiful, drinks on board are very very reasonable. The whole day was fanatic! Can't wait to come back and your with them again!

  Wow where do I begin. What a great day out with Paul and his team. The minute we stepped on the boat, we felt welcome by the team. Due to the hit to tourism, there were only 6 passengers on the boat with 3 staff. Paul accommodated our group even though we had low numbers. It was fantastic choosing a small and personalised reef trip over the big boats that we have done previously. We decided to Scuba Dive last minute, and despite my nerves, they were patient and made me feel very comfortable throughout the experience. Lunch was delicious with a spread of pasta, potato salad and cold meats. We also got a cold glass wine and cheese on the way back. Reef trips were great - we saw an abundance of amazing marine life. We will be returning very soon to go diving again. Thanks for a great day!

  I loved that the trip didn't have too many people. I chose it because it was a smaller group. We were given freedom but also the option to have a guided tour of the reef. We saw plenty of ocean life and everything was well organised. I would definitely do it again.

  I had an absolutely amazing day on the reef daytripper! Being a solo traveller it was really important to me that there is a good vibe and friendly, small group on the boat - and that is exactly what I got! I was able to make friends easily with some of the couples on board, and the smaller group number meant I felt really included and not just one of 100. Paul the owner was our captain for the day, and he made it a fantastic time - a very dry and quick sense of humour and some great local knowledge made him a great host. Mikayla and Julian were our diving/snorkeling guides and they did a great job, especially with some of the guests onboard who were not super confident in the water - they spent the literal hours out on the reef guiding a tour using life rings to tow those that needed the extra assistance (talk about a leg workout), and pointed out some really cool things such as giant clams and starfish. We got the chance to see a reef shark, a turtle and multiple rays, as well as a beautiful reef teeming with life as you can see in the photos attached! If you have a GoPro I would highly recommend bringing it, or hiring the one onboard as you get some great footage to remember it all by. Food was amazing and filling, there was plenty of room for a second serve as well. After we finished snorkeling, a nice cold beer on the sailing trip back in and great company + conversation rounded the day out nicely. The only thing I would change is next time I know not to bring a banana on board 😅

  I chose Reef Day Tripper because I wanted a smaller-group experience and I’m so glad I did. This day trip was very well-organized and staffed. The three crew members (Mikayla, Julian & Kaitlin) were superb and really deserve a big shout out for their professionalism and friendliness. If I were to go the reef again I’d definitely choose the same company as I like the way this operation is run. Thank you!

  Fabulous day out! Love the smaller amount of people... all very relaxed sailing out withthe nets, laying around & chatting away with others. The weather was perfect and the crew were great. The water was so clear! My partner and I snorkelled, had lunch then was happy to watch the others in the water and see the marine life from above. Jumping in every now and then to cool off! Yummy lunch and snack on the way back. Highly recommend Reef Daytripper.
